Affiliate Summit 2007 West – Recap
For all of you that attended the Affiliate Summit West and stopped by our booth, it was great meeting you! And, for those of you who couldn’t make it…sorry we missed you. It was a great show. There were a lot really great seminars worth attending (Thinking outside of the box to market your affiliate site, Ask the Expert: Super Affiliates, Blogging: The new Super Affiliate).
We also received a lot of good feedback from attendee’s on key elements that make a good program and different ways to keep affiliates engaged. Some of the suggestions we’re already doing now and for those that we aren’t, they’re really great ideas and we’re working to get them implemented; we’ll keep you posted. We enjoyed the Affiliate Summit so much that we’re already planning our trip to Miami for the Affiliate Summit East - hope to see you there!
What’s New?
- New Product: As we mentioned in our last Newsletter, on February 24th, we’ll be adding another hot product into our affiliate program for you to earn commissions on: SSL Certificates! - Affiliate of the Month: We selected our first winner for February!! Tip of the Month – focus your Ad Words campaigns!
Gone are the days when you can dump hundreds of keywords into a single AdGroup and get decent click through and conversion rates. As pay-per-click engines have become more sophisticated, marketers must also adapt and become more sophisticated. A successful PPC effort will include ads that focus on very specific keywords – you may only have several keywords driving each ad. By focusing your ads to specific keywords, your click through rates will increase and your conversions will be better. Good luck!
